I'm Tim, I discovered the joys of road cycling about 4 years ago after trying off-road and not really enjoying it.
I originally cycled for fitness, but now Value my rides as 'me time' to relax and unwind, and actually take in the scenery.
My cycling is usually with a couple of mates, although I'm equally as happy on my own. 30-40 miles on a Sunday morning or 20'ish on a decent evening in Spring / Summer. I've done a handful of 100km charity rides as well. We usually ride up into the Yorkshire Wolds.
I'm not a racer, 13-15mph average is quick enough for me, I'm not built for speed!
