Hi all, I found this forum while searching stuff for Bkool trainer and found a lot of interesting stuff.
I'm a runner by trade but started cycling last year as cross training saves my knees a bit (age sigh).
Looking forward to engaging in conversations with you all.

Hi and welcome.

Three of the best riders I know are an accomplished runners too. I think the fitness is pretty transferable to riding, at least the stamina is.

Hi there, always found cycling easier on the legs than running too
Exeter's pretty nice, moved out of there about 6 months ago but head back to watch the rugby a lot!

Hi, born and bred in Exeter, sang in the Cathedral choir and left 30 years ago .... It's nice but the centre has changed a lot.

Anyhow, enough of this drivel... Welcome!

It really has. I grew up about half an hour away and over the years I'd never been to Exeter enough to be really familiar with it so I'd go to do something and feel a bit lost again because things had changed. Lived there for about 18 months in the end and got a better idea but my brain really struggled combining memories from bits of the last 25 years to work out what was where!
