Hello from Failsworth

Hi signed up yesterday and thought i would give you a little introduction.


My name is Peter 39 from Failsworth.

Most off my cycling is my commute to work in Ashton under Lyne about 7 miles direct but sometimes take a longer route home.

Also did 14 Skyrides 1 cityride and also the Ride the Lights in Blackpool this summer,

Then there is the caravan on the North Wales coast within 100 yards of the NCN5 between Prestatyn and Rhos on Sea which i do as much as i can.


I ride a 2008 Merida Urban 6.7 Hybrid.

Welcome, Peter! Hope you've got plenty of dosh - this place is guaranteed to relieve you of most of it...

I commute from Bardsley to Manchester via Coal Pit Lane and Failsworth. The stretch from the Pole to Broadway is bloody dangerous I tell you! Always feckin' road works, dozy drivers changing lanes without indicating etc, etc...

So, which way do you go to Ashton?

Hi Baz I go from Westminster road up Cutler hill, through Daisy Nook, along Newmarket road, cut through the housing estate and alond Richmond road then Lord Sheldon Way to work at Ashton Moss.

I don't like driving down that bit off Oldham road nevermind cycling!!

Hiya and welcome- another local here! From the other side of Oldham road though- just off old road. Baz- I know what you wean about Pole to broadway- that's the very start of my commute to Wythenshawe.
