As the user name suggests I am old (42) fat (107kg) and foolish (thinking of cycling London to Paris or LEJoG) for charidee.
Work as a Posty so not totally unfit and just getting back into cycling on my old bike a ridgeback Delta.
Done plenty of touring in the Alps (albeit on four wheels with an engine) and with the price of fuel maybe will do so again on two (if the fitness regime holds up, along with the ticker rofl).
Planning on a new set of wheels, possibly a Panorama which looks like it would be an ideal machine.
Anyway thats me, looking forward to picking the collective brain and reading lots of top tips.
