Hello from Hinckley (near Leicester)

Hi everybody - my first post on here.

I'm looking to get back into cycling, primarily for fitness and fresh air(!) - I used to cycle a fair bit in the late 80's as a teenager on my trusty Peugeot Galibier road bike (which I still have, and am looking to sell shortly).

Just wanted to say hello - what a friendly forum this is!

I look forward to sharing my experiences and getting a bit of advice here and there (first up - what bike should I buy?!)

I'm a hinckley lad too.

What sort of riding do you want to do? I just got a new bike from Bikes and Sports, he did me a good deal in fact it was cheaper than anywhere online!

Thanks for the replies everyone. Looking to do weekly rides on local roads, 1-2 hours probably. I'm also going to buy from Bikes & Sports in all likelihood, how did you manage to get it cheaper than online?

Since the above post I've now bought my bike - a Specialized Secteur Sport. Loving it so far - and I feel fitter already after just 2 rides!
