Hi everyone names Paul, just turned 50 yrs young and getting back in to cycling after deciding last year to try and get my self fitter by 50. Im on track after joining a gym and taking up running but my neighbour lent me his full suspension mountain bike, which i do find a bit bouncy going up hills so i think im looking for a Hybrid have looked at a Boardman but was told it only has 2 front cogs and to go for a three
My employer is a member of cyclescheme.co.uk and after requesting them to join other cycling schemes they refused, which is annoying so I'm looking through the list of shops at the moment to see what takes my fancy

whats the forums take on this http://www.tredz.co.uk/.DiamondBack-Contra-Plus-2012-Hybrid-Sports-Bike_51730.htm
will be used mainly on cycle tracks and some commuting on roads

 welcome, it sounds like you sould go for a road or hybrid mate.

bouncing takes the power away from your legs but good on tracks.
