hi all
im stuart, stu , stuee or call me what you like as long as its not late for dinner  (the old ones are the best)
anyway i live in Midlothian just outside Edinburgh and iv been a keen bike rider since i was a kid. as with most folk i got into cars and sort of left the bikes, but due to an injury a few years ago i dont drive much now and so i tried using a bike but found a conventional bike gave me problems (as its my left arm that's damaged) i found braking with my left very hard and just having my arm at the angel of the handle bars causes pain. so i started looking into recumbent trikes so i could ride with ease just using my right hand to steer.
after a lot of looking round and several heart stopping moment when i seen the prices of recumbent s iv decided to build my own and i have made the test trike and had great fun on it so now im building the proper trike ^_^

:hello: @stuee147 and :welcome: to CC ! :wahhey:

I have a Nazca Fuego 2-wheeled 'bent, which I have taken to a CC Ecosse Forum ride - the one with the 17% incline ..... I walked and pushed and encouraged some (female) upwrong riders on their way ...

Any SLROC members here, by any chance ?

1: i have the time free
2: that i have built my bike

and John the Canuck i couldn't agree more a proper 4x4 i don't think you can beat an old series 3 my last one (the one in my avatar) was unbeaten at my old off-road course it left defenders, discos, the little Suzuki and most anything else, having said that i had spent a lot of time and money hand tuning the original 2 1/4 ltr diesel engine and new uprated suspension and wheels i miss the old girl but i do know who has her and she is still in daily use ^_^

:hello: @stuee147 and

''.....i miss the old girl but i do know who has her and she is still in daily use....''

nice.. mine was a bog-standard Series 3 - until a mate from Canada flew over

- bought it - added LR fuel tanks, roof tent, etc etc, and drove to Algiers, got a permit and went XC-Sahara to Tamanrasset, then continued south
sold it for a boat ticket and sailed back to Canada

envy.................
