Hello from Park Gate (It's near Southampton!!)

Hello all.

As I am a new member on here, I thought I would say hello.

I have recently got rid of my car in favour of cycling to work, as I have been cycling my old GIANT ATX 840 MTB (with road/slick tyres) to and from work since the start of April.

I am currently awaiting delivery of my new road machine to replace the road-going MTB so I can put my knobbly tyres back on the MTB for some off-roading.

Looking forward to making some new friends on here and getting into road-riding and hopefully road-racing in the not-so-distant future.

Used to live in Park Gate (Beacon Close) years ago ... still not too far away.
You are not too far from Montage also (during uni vacations anyway) ... he's into racing - I'm not.

Thanks Chaps! Will hopefully get to meet some of you at some stage then! I can usually be found on my commute along the A27/Havant road to and from Havant, and I try to say hello to each cyclist I encounter. I'm usually in a blue short sleeved cycling shirt and khaki camo shorts, so say Hi if you see me!
