Hello from Poole, UK

Hello, I am new to this forum, but I have cycling for many years, mostly as a commuter.
Last year, someone at my work organised a charity ride from Poole to Landsend and back to Poole in three days (around 440 miles). So I bought myself a road bike and started riding seriously about this time last year.
Five of us did the ride at the end of July 2016 and made the journey there and back in three days. We managed to raise around £6,500 for a local cancer hospice centre.
I have also caught the cycling bug.
