Hi to everyone. I have joined the forum as a beginner cyclist as an adult. Rode a bike to school many years ago but dont remember having to use gears, roads or any important things like that.

My route consisted of pavements and bridle paths. My bike was second hand with a shopping basket on the front to take my cooking home :-)

Looking fwd to hints, tips and friendship in the cycling community.

I had a secondhand Raleigh Twenty Shopper with three speed Sturmey Archer twist grip gears when I was a lad - it was my first adult bike.
It took some abuse after I turned it into a "Scrambler/stunt bike" 34years ago - it was indestructable!!!!
