Just wanted to say hi 👋 from a currently wet and windy Somerset.
After approximately 17 years of not riding a bike, I suddenly decided in December to buy myself one. Two weeks later, one arrived on my doorstep. It turns out that in the interim, with ageing (aka reaching 60 😟), I have become less balanced and co-ordinated. Thus my infrequent rides - work and weather permitting - have been short local excursions just to practice not wobbling and falling off. The last bike I owned was a hybrid with only 7 gears, this one has 27! I am discovering what the additional 20 do; I feel that once I try to ride up the steep hills locally, otherwise known as Exmoor, I shall be grateful of them 😅
