Cheers folks. Drove up to Whitelee wind farm on the Moor today and was struck by how potentially awesome a climb from Eaglesham to the top of the moor would be, definitely a major ambition when I'm a bit fitter. Was most jealous of a cyclist positively flying downhill towards the village having done the hard work coming up from A77. Even in crappy weather, the location is awesome.

Hya and to the CC jungle! Lived in New Lanark a couple of years ago and there [also Melrose in 2007] and there's some fantastic riding to the south o' Glesca and in the borders. Arran and the Highlands aren't too shabby either.
