You probably go past my house, I live on the main road between the old Tatton cinema and the railway bridge.

Gatley to be precise.

I can't believe it's over 40 years since I got my first new bike from a shop on the Tilehurst Road in Reading.

A gorgeous Carlton Corse Des Primes in a fetching shade of blue and pink with much shiny chrome (brave for a 16 year old lad). The Carlton has long gone but it's replacements are all enjoyed as much as that old Carlton.

I potter around the Cheshire lanes now and taxi my two lads around the UK with an assortment of mountain bikes in the back of the van.

The information and banter on here makes a good read, I hope I can join in now and again.
