Hi All

Just got back into cycling after many years. Used to cycle every weekend with my dad  was a member of a few clubs very happy days. Getting old now almost 41 eep! decided I needed to get fit again so got out an old mountain bike and got going again, forgot how much I loved cycling.
Was recently talked into doing the Great North Bike ride so I decided to buy myself a new bike tried out some very nice road bikes but sadly found that my double curvature in my spine just would not allow me to ride comfortably  but my amazing Dad came to the rescue and bought me an early birthday present, a Boardman Hybrid MX Sport, i'm never going to be super fast again and probably wont be accepted into any cycling clubs on a hybrid  but having an amazing time whizzing round south shields, Boldon and the north east. So if you are in the area and see a strange lady on a lovey blue Boradman give a wave

Hello Bonny Lass!:hello:Welcome.I used to live in Shields, loved it,many a good time was had...etc.As you can see,I hail from the far West,(well, 70 miles or so West!)However,I forgive you for living yon side of the Tyne Gap:tongue:.Enjoy yourself. One of my female friends once told me that when she started cycling she was soon spending more on cyc^_^ling than shoes.....and she had a lot of shoes. Now I'm not presuming anything, but it might be worth bearing in mind

Ah well,I saw a pair today in my LBS,were,I think around £240.On sale at the moment for less than half that.Bit of a shame really that they are too small for me:rolleyes:They are bright Yellow mind you,and I'm not sure someone of my speed average should be wearing fast shoes in any case:smile:
