Had a great holilday in your area this summer. Stayed in East Barkwith. Some wonderful quiet roads in your part of the world.

East Barkwith is a 20 minute cycle from here and the roads are, as you say, pretty quiet, at the moment they are very muddy it being sugar beet harvest season and lots of hawthorn thorns as many farmers are cutting hedges, I've had 3 punctures in the last couple of weeks!

Hi from very close to the Lincolshire Wolds, if you have ever done the Sustrans route through Bardney then you have been past my door.

We went there this summer. Stopped at the Heritage Centre cafe for a cake and drink in both directions, following the Water Rail Cycle Route.
