Hello from Willington Quay

Hello, I'm Kevin. I live in Willington Quay and since we moved here, literally 50 yards off NCN 72, I've also been made redundant so I've been out on my bike every day (well most). I've been doing 72 towards Newcastle Quayside, and more recently towards Tynemouth.
I'm 60 in October and I've never been a great cyclist but I'm getting into it.
I'll probably ask all the usual newbie questions, so I hope you'll be patient with me.
