Found this forum from a youtube video (shhhhh) and I've taken the plunge to get a road bike after a bike accident well over a year ago. Was unsure at first but i missed cycling too much not to try again.

I'm Noah from Manchester, and i have just got a road bike as my long journey to work is just one giant straight smooth road for about 5.5 miles

Personally since I was quite little but only started to take it more seriously around 2000, then took a bit longer to build up to big mileage rides.
