I do a small amount of cycling now as I have moved to hilly Devon. I have a lovely Ruby bike and want to cycle from Edinburgh to Dundee in June.

I've taken the liberty of removing your poll from the thread as the allowed choices didn't make sense. I presume that you wished to ask where it's possible to hire a bike in Edinburgh and drop it off in Dundee?

We've got plenty of helpful and knowledgable members on here so I'm sure someone will have that information for you.

Welcome. I used to live in Devon and can confirm it is very hilly.

I still have the scars from not respecting how steep a hill was near Lynton...

There is a lovely stretch of almost billiard table flatness from Torcross heading north for a whole 3.5 km! It's the only bit of road in devon I know that is flat.
