Hello. I am here looking for advice on old lady balance stabilisers . I am 68 love my cheap Raleigh Loxly that I ride only 5 miles a day in London to do my shopping. So not really a cyclist I call myself an old lady that rides a bike.
recently I have had quite a few falls, my balance is shot but I really don’twant to give up my bike.
I have tried a friends trike but didn’t like it so I’m wondering if I can just put stabilisers on my well loved bike.
my question is, are the more expensive adult ones (£100 +)worth the money or can I try the £50 ones. Any experience or advice gratefully received. Thank you. Unsteady Jean

from another 68er! Still have my balance, so far. Can't help with the stabilisers, but I'd be very surprised if the knowledge isn't here somewhere! And you're braver than I! Not sure I'd ever have the nerve to ride in London! The Devon lanes frighten me quite enough...
