I live near Whitley Bay 5 miles from Newcastle and am also looking for cycling buddies around my area who are also pretty new to the game. I've recently bought a mountain bike for mucking about on and generally cycling to work and back etc but looking to do a few charity cycles etc and contemplating getting a road/hybrid bike next year if i'm still interested.
