Use a contour like case with 2 camera's at each end.

funnily enough I'm on the look out for a cheep screen, hook up a helmt cam on the seat post looking back, screen in front , no need for mirrors or checking my 6 every 10 minutes.

The issue is that as you look right if a car is tailgating you, then the rear camera will look away.

This is one of this sounds better than the reality ideas. Latency, screen glare and most of all powering the screen are problematic.

A screen outdoors needs to be bright to be seen this uses battery life especially as it is on all the time.

power shouldn't be a problem I have a generator attached to my hips , just got to hook a dynamo - glare on the screen is tech problem to be solved , but I can see my sat nav. - my stumbling bloke is cost.

freind of mine just bought a top of the range mercedes - and it still has wingmirrors , rear parking radar but you how hard would it be to fit cameras.
