I agree that it most likely wasn't real, but what I was apparently failing to point out is that an "endorsement" and an "endowment" are not the same thing. Looks like I failed to illicit the correct response.
My bad. Maybe he's now a well endowed cyclist:laugh:

I did post something in response but I'm assuming Sky didn't like me calling him a fool and a liar since it was rejected!

Talking of head cams the new GoPro Hero 4 Black will be out soon. It's supposed to have much improved night recording capabilities. Would make a nice Christmas present for some one.

Shame it's as aerodynamic as previous versions.

Well I am lead to believe it is quite small. Do manufacturers consider aerodynamics when they make their head cams? Should they? It might push up the costs of the product if they started producing head cams for time trialists who are fanatical about aerodynamics who probably wouldn't have a camera on their TT helmet anyway or bike for that matter because of the weight as well as aerodynamics.

I like the idea of headcams for showing scenery while you are riding. In my mind thats what they were made for. But 5 minutes of watching total plonkers riding bikes on Youtube, drives me nuts. There is an "OY" man. I call him that because as soon as anyone looks as though they might do something wrong he shorts "OY" and then the registration number of the possibly offending car. GET A LIFE. What does he do with all these clips? I bet he has floor to ceiling files of all his clips. If he has a long suffering wife she would say " Well it gets him out of the house for a bit of excercise, and its better than train spotting" No its not my dear. You cant die train spotting but thise fools can die pixxing people off.

Have you also noticed how many head cam wearers actually appear in accidents? Now that is frightening. If you want to be in an accident, wear a head cam.

I was referring to it's resemblance to a brick.

I've had headcams for about six years, never had an accident, and only uploaded one video on Cycle Video Day in 2011. I wear it to give me peace of mind should I be unlucky to be involved in an incident/collision while commuting, not to look for trouble or increase my YouTube hits. The tired old line of cyclists wearing cameras looking for trouble is quite frankly a load of bollocks and it's up there with "all cyclists run red lights".

Exactly, and the sky reporter doesn't seem to understand what the word vigilante means, unless he thinks CCTV in banks are vigilantes.
