I use a MUVI, can fault it (well apart from its not waterproof)

For quality/size/price the fore mentioned MUVI looks good, its just a pity its not entirely waterproof. I'm using an ATC 5K, although its robust, its a bit big IMO and I mount mine on my bars instead and its not that great in poor light. If money isn't really a problem there's the POV1.5, I think magnatom, bentmikey and downfader are using something along those lines.

Joe, a camera isnt for revenge. Its a campaign or vlogging tool, or a device for insurance and police evidence.

Plenty of good cameras out there... if you have the money contour HD, if not MUVI... just go on youtube and see what everyone is using

contourhd user here, very good camera, although you need to learn what settings to use in each kind of weather! and it's not fully waterproof, but you can get a waterproof case for £30.

I've got the muvi...and have got an ATC2000. Take a look at my youtube channel.

I can't really recommend the Muvi enough. There is a waterproof case, but it's quite expensive IMO.

The Observer Effect - changes that the act of observing will make on the phenomenon being observed.

The Helmet Cam Effect - changes that the use of a camera will make to the
behaviour of drivers ?

The ones who notice the camera probably aren't the ones who are going to cut me up . It may however change the behaviour of the cyclist. Though, I'll still do a few naughty things even with the camera.

I sometimes have a little twiddle with it while waiting at the lights to make people aware....but there is just no hope for some people.

Absolutely. On Saturday I had a company van driver look as sick as a dog when he saw the helmet camera and I told him to put the phone down. Unfortunately my camera had crashed, so I don't think I got the footage.

No photo, but basically you get a plastic clip which attaches to your helmet vents by using some Velcro straps.

It took me some time to figure out how to attach it, but does work well.
