Don't wear a helmet while skiiing mainly because I go for recreation and the only injury I've been near to sustaining was caused by someone getting off the lift behind me. A helmet wouldn't have been any use to me whatsoever when their ski's were forcing mine apart and almost popped my kneecaps before I went into the splits. You'll have to trust me when I say ice and groin are not a good mixture!!

I was on a group ride once and one of the women brought her young son along who'd done exactly that.
We soon gently put them right.
