Helmets and flies

I can`t stand the bloody things, they make me cringe, once something is wriggling around under there, it has to go, I think I`ll either try a buff, which I only ever use during the winter, or tape the holes up as I said. Either way I`m going to sweat like a b**ch, but that`s a price I`m happy to pay, as I like the route:okay:

I managed to 'catch' a bug in mine this weekend. When I finally couldn't ignore it any longer and stopped to deal with it there were a couple of other cyclists near me. They did have quite a giggle when I took off my helmet and a large butterfly happily flew out.

My cheap Lidl helmet has bug mesh as does my Bell Solar.

Irrational fear of getting an angry wasp stuck on my bonce prompts me to list bug mesh as a "must have" when considering helmet purchases !

I use a hair sleep net which is like a stronger version of a normal hair net
I have it stretched over the top of my helmet & it works a treat I was always getting flies etc in my helmet.
Only cost about 1.60 from super drug, I have had it on my helmet for over a year with out it ripping.
