I recently saw a few people carrying helmets through the airport. Do they have to be in your hand luggage or can you just carry them on with your hand luggage?
I'm not sure the helmet will help much if the plane crashes
Can I bring my helmet & "comfort" bicycle into the plane cabin at no cost?I don't know what the rules are, but isn't it the same as a hat? You must be allowed to wear a flat cap and bring your "comfort" whippet aboard, surely?
None of this worries me as I am banned for life from flying.
Years ago I hosted a familiarisation trip out to Namibia for a group of travel agents. Keen to please, the airline upgraded us to Club Class which had copious and comfortable kidney style bunks. It was a long haul flight and we had entertained with probably too many drinks beforehand in the VIP lounge. I fell asleep in the recliner when the cabin lights were turned down and the temperature was lowered. It was fairly chilly and in the night I lost my blanket. Waking up a little cool and hazy from drink, I scrabbled round on the floor for the lost blanket. Thinking I’d found it, I snuggled it under my chin and went back to sleep till the morning.
When the blinds were opened and the lights turned on, to my horror, I discovered my ‘blanket’ was really another passenger’s trousers. It was really hard to return them without me being revealed as an onboard trouser stealer.
Awkward? You don't know the meaning of the word.
