Charlotte's Tandems

Charlotte's Tandems is a unique charity that lends tandems and tag-along bikes to people with disabilities or additional needs for free, so that they can ride wherever, whenever and with whoever they like.
Unfortunately our North Essex based Helper has decided that he can't help us anymore. We therefore need to redistribute his tandems. It would be great if we could get one or more people to take over from him. Our other closest Helpers are near Ipswich, near Watford and in Northamptonshire. We could therefore do with Helpers in Essex, West Suffolk, Cambridgeshire and/or Norfolk. Anyone know anyone that might be able to help? If we can't find anyone to help the we'll have to sell the tandems.
The role involves: contacting people that I put in touch with you that would like to borrow a tandem, getting them to come and visit you to collect the tandem, teaching them how to ride the tandem safely, keeping in contact with them whilst they have the tandem, arranging them to return the tandem when the next people are ready. If you have bike maintenance skills then this is great too. It is a very rewarding role, as you meet some lovely people and the joy the riders get is fantastic.
