Help - Has anyone got the Nigella Christmas Book?

I don't have the book, but photocopied the Snowflake cookie recipe last year.

I've just turned the house upside down trying to find it and failed miserably. Google's no help, so am hoping that someone out there has the book and can save me.

The kids are revolting and muttering dark words about my organisational skills... I tried to fob them off with gingerbread to hang on the Christmas tree but they're having none of it.

Oh, I found those, but as you said you had the gingerbread ones...

Good that Firestorm found the right ones. Are the snowflake shapes difficult to make, or if I make them a bit wonky is that part of the charm?

You're probably best off with a snowflake shaped cutter, but you could just do circles, or diamonds.

I use a set of snowflake cutters, but still manage to make them a bit wonky, so I'd say Yes, definitely part of the charm.

I made about 80 of these last year for the school fair and I think I can honestly say that every single was different.

Great fun icing them too.

I might try the recipe for the biscuity element. Then see about some snowflake cutters. If they taste so good, then the decoration will be a bonus. I know that if Twentysix tests the biskits for quality, I will need to make two lots to convince him of my consistent high quality in biskit cooking. (Then more for Potsy and Arch and Ian and..... * ponders how much flour I have got *.)

I now have 3 trays of snowflakes, 24 mincepies and an electrician fixing the trip switch in my kitchen after the socket circuit blew and refused to come back on.


I don't think the three things are connected.

Am surprised you didnt set fire to anything "accidentally" so you could get a few hunky firemen in your kitchen too Or these guys.....................................................
