Hi all,

I'm hoping the community can help me identify and source a replacement freehub body for my bike.
The bike is a Sonder Camino Ti Apex AXS XPLR fitted with the original Sonder Alpha I25 Gravel UK Made wheelset.

The rear wheel specification is:
  • Alpha hub
  • 12x142mm thru axle
  • Shimano HG freehub
  • 4-pawl freehub
  • 30-tooth ratchet ring
I've recently serviced the existing freehub and it's now working perfectly, however I'd like to purchase a spare freehub body while parts are still available.
Unfortunately Sonder/Alpkit have gone through administration and I haven't yet received a response to my support query.

Does anyone know:
  1. The OEM manufacturer of the Alpha hub?
  2. The correct replacement freehub body?
  3. Whether the freehub is shared with another hub brand (Novatec, Formula, Joytech, Bitex, etc.)?
For reference, this is the bike:

I am in need of a 4-pawl freehub compatible with my bike.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

When you say 'serviced' does that mean you've removed the freehub? If so you need to take it off again and take some 'all round' photos of it, especially the base where it goes on the hub. There are many different configurations of freehub and it's priceless to take and keep a photo on your phone to ease the process of buying a replacement in the future. It looks a nice modern bike, unlike all of mine, so with any luck it's a simple removal operation. Mine take an age to remove because I have to remove the axel to access the freehub and then use a hex key the size of a table leg. If you put a few photos on here you'll get a good response. Otherwise we're guessing even though you've provided a lot of info 👍
