Help with new Garmin. Won't look up postcodes

Hello,

I've just got a new Garmin Edge Touring and I've seen a few people on the internet in general having difficulties getting it to look up postcodes for new locations. So far I've switched it on. Done the update to Mapping 4.1 and that's it. I can find lots of people having this issue if I google it but no-one coming up with any solutions.
Any help would be very much appreciated!

have you searched on Youtube. There is a lot of garmin things on there.
