I have the michelin 578 regional map of andalucia - no probs.

however i am having trouble with spanish addresses, how do you read this address so I can easily find it on the above map

Desde la N-340 saliendo por el Km.64 en direcciÊn al mar., Adra 04770 , Almería (España)

I'm baffled and would appreciate any help

Thanks in advance

"from the N340 leaving at km 64 in the direction of the sea Adra (town name), post code 04770" . It is in the centre of Adra from what I can see on Google maps http://maps.google.com/maps?f=q&hl=...,-3.015361&spn=0.014923,0.027637&z=15&iwloc=A - "those directions are a bit like saying "leave the A3 at junction and head for the town centre" ie a bit vague!

It is common on major Spanish roads to have the KM as an address so you might get KM 313.297 meaning go past the KM marker at the 313km point and 297m later you will be there. For smaller towns they often do not put the word "Calle" for street so the address will say Rio 32, Malaga (No32 Calle del Rio, Malaga etc). Another very common expression is Calle del Rio, S/N, where S/N means "without number".

I do speak Spanish so let me know if help needed.

I cycled out of Almeria a couple of years back on a trip to Valencia so see here if that helps http://www.crazyguyonabike.com/doc/almeriavalencia2005

Have a great ride!
