She also happened to be nice looking.

On the A2 coming up to the roundabout with new kent road.

Just helped her out with a bike pump and found out she was a fellow newbie, think a previously cyclist had helped her change the inner tube but his pump had malfunctioned and she'd been to lidl but they didnt sell any.

As blur said an eronomous sense of well being.

As well as an excuse for being late for work.

No pics sorry.
No number, dont think my girlfriend would of appreciated that.

I know i'm being selfish, i should of thought about you guys. Well as she's new i'll probably see her again. She did have a running vest on with her name on it also, but the name evades me.

Was thinking wouldnt it be great if we had cyclechat cards, then doesnt actually look like flirting!

I've managed to help a stranded cyclist before and have also been helped myself. Felt great being able to give help and much appreciated when I was helped. Some of those who didn't have time to stop and help me still made sure I had everything I needed.

Cyclechat cards would be great! I'd love to know if any of the cyclists I see on my commute are on here.

.

It can be quite hard to tell with the helmet and the commuting gear. I mean, you see a cyclist stopped at the side of road, decide to offer help and it turns out she is ugly....jeez:smile:

There are risks in everything. but i would say helping somebody out is a good enough feeling anyway.

Speciallized sirrus she had probably 09 version. (cant remember her name on vest but can tell you what bike and model year, i've lost it with cycling now!!)

Yep, you know you are a cyclist when you see a member of the appropriate sex on a bike and the first thing you do is check out the bike frame and components.

I've only had the chance to help one person.

I helped a lady get a slipped chain back on, did some minor adjustments to the gears, advised her not to go into the lowest gear until it was fixed properly and sent her on her way.

I also suggested she clean her chain occassionally as her hands were black from grease and dirt, which then got moved to the handlebars and seat.

My hands were clean, as I always have a pair of rubber gloves with me

rubber gloves!

Practical but im sure it would probably scare some people off being that efficient

When I saw the state of her chain I was glad I had them. She worked at the hospital so I reckon she now has a stash of them in her bag.

Is it effecient or just sad that I carry around a spare tube and multi-tool, even when I'm not on my bike, just in case

If I saw someone stop and put on some Marigolds I think I'd abandon my bike and run for it ;):biggrin::biggrin:

Peanut, thats exactly what i was thinking. But i thought i'd be polite and say it was efficient.

I probably would walk around with a multi tool kit without a bike also. Boy scout
