Nah. Smaug was the best ever on-screen dragon. Even better than the original Pete's Dragon dragon.

some of it maybe of its time, but the Andre Previn sketch is timeless

It's not so much the subject matter, rather the writing style I have trouble with.I find it too much like hard work to get to the story.

is this an heretical opinion? I was not familiar with the sketch ,but after 4 minutes I gave up, in agony. Seems very dated to me. Never spent much time with M&W, so I do not have an educated palate. Personally, I'd rather watch an episode of Man about the house
