Herne Hill track...!

Hi all

Delving deep into the recesses of an aging mind I recall riding at Herne Hill during the 1960's as a schoolboy from Tulse Hill comprehensive as an alternative to swimming at Crystal Palace (still can't swim), but I also seem to remember a cycling club based there called Herne Couriers (?).....does anyone else remember this club or is old father time playing mind games with me....?

Wow....I didn't know that....thanks for the info. I haven't been there since the 1960's but I hear its been revamped, which it sorely needed, but it was, and hopefully still is, a great track.
