Hello every1. Im a 17 year old guy and im really overweight. So i basically made this account regarding some questions people could share about weight loss and so, and i also made this account to meet some nice people. Sorry english is not my first language but i hope you all understand.

I weigh 255lbs (116kg) and my height is 6'10 (183cm) . I know thats alot of weight and im problably one of the biggest 17 year olds ever.

So i just wanted to say hi. Im getting a bike tomorrow and i believe it will be a Trek 7100. I dont know if thats good or not. I already cut out all the breads, sodas, fastfoods.

Maybe that was too much information i dont know... So i really want to lose weight. I have no goal weight i just wanna be normal.

Hi and welcOme to the forum, you are not alone on here with being overweight and wanting to cycle to loose it.... I myself have lost nearly 3 stone with diet and excercise . It is good for you and becomes a habit, just get out and enjoy what ever bike you get, eat sensibly and the weight will come off.... Well done to you for making the decision to make a change

Hey, I was born in Estonia but i now live in Finland. Nice to see people being so supportive. I cant wait to get up at 6 AM and Cycle in the morning. I actually enjoy doing sports more on the morning rather than evening. And i love Cycling because its not as tiring as jogging and its actually something i enjoy doing.

3 Stones? Thats like 19 KG am i right? Thats pretty impressive. If you dont mind me asking how much do u weigh now and how long did it take to lose 3 stones? I see this is more of a british webiste? Yeah im trying to eat sensibly but i have horrible cravings. I have eaten mostly Special K for like 2 days now . I know thats not good im trying to go on some salads too. Thanks for your answer and support

It took me about 4months, I now weight 83kg, I joined weight watchers and cycled about 100 miles a week, I an now back running about 6 miles a day as well. Cravings are part of the weight loss program just plan your daily intake and stick to it you will see the benefits very soon. Good luck and keep us posted how you get on.

Both countries sound really interesting ! What is it like cycling over there ? UK is at times very interesting with motorists not being big fans of us on two wheels but we have fun ! Good luck with the challenge and don't be afraid to ask any advice !

Well they are both pretty cold countries. We still havent had a decent beach weather yet... But id have to say people do like to cycle here. Mostly in the early morning. Many Finnish elders like to do pole walking. But younger people in Estonia and Finland both mostly Jog. But then again they are very fit...In finland i have this track.. Theres a mountain next to it, then theres a river and a slight forest. Its a really cozy its very nice there at early mornings with other people jogging and doing whatever they do there. Also a dog park.

Are you guys saying cycling gets addictive? Hmm, never thought of that. But i have to say i like doing it so maybe i would get addicted. I guess you need to find a place that you really like to ride at.
