Hi all, not used to these forum "thingies" (it's me age) and not sure if I should have responded to the first post or opened up a new thread! Oh well, no doubt a ticking off will come if I have sinned!
So, back to my hello...I'm the proud owner of a new cycle or two ( ;-) ) and got back into cycling again after a few years away...the last time I was riding, racers had gear knobs on the down tube! Mainly picked up a bike again due to health reasons, wanted to shed a few pounds, and did so with my new bike, only the wrong ones!!! Would love to join my local cycling club, but sadly feel my fitness/pace is well short of even the less experienced riders, I am a bit of an ambler, prefer the bum down & head in the air position, as opposed to the other!!!
Mainly on here for tech advice/help, but also chat to other bike anoraks like myself, and of course getting to know you all, thanks.
