For some time now I've been wondering where fashion would go next. Builder's bums for girls seemed the ultimate piss-take from fashion designers.

But given the builders connection, I should have seen this coming. Hard hats and safety boots next? Ear defenders? Safety specs?

Sweaty T shirts? Broken fingernails? (of course, you'd have to pay a fortune at a beautician's (is tha what you call them) to have them broken off and dirtied really fashionably...)

Before evolving into a goth I used to wear bleached jeans or a leopard print skirt with fishnets, pink flourescent socks and a flourescent pink leopard print top and studded belts. If only I had a scanner I'd treat you all to the photos...

Our LBS has sold cycling jerseys to non cyclists (men) as club wear. It's something to do with the popular figure hugging, sporty/footballer/sponsors logos look, plus any reflectives and/or high viz look cool when lit up by night club lighting (apparently).
