High Pitched Sound

My new bike has a very high pitched sound that comes and goes while in motion. It tends to start when having built up a bit of speed and only stops when the wheels stop (so it's not occurring on each pedal rotation for example, and holding the pedals still has no effect). The odd thing is, if I don't stop the wheels entirely, it will carry on even when going slowly, but never starts when going slowly!

Unfortunately I can't replicate it static, probably because I can't get the speed up enough, or perhaps it's the front wheel which obviously I can't make go very fast when static.

Anything to worry about do you think?

Could it be some sort of resonance?... maybe theirs a slight contact with the brake blocks or something?
Although i know resonance can happen with bearings of other things, but my knowledge on bicycle problems is somewhat limited.
I'm sure someone here will offer the solution

Disc brakes? You may have a pad dragging on the disc slightly. Check the caliper alignment.

I had this on a Trek hybrid if I had not tightened the front QR enough, which threw out the brake alignment and made it squeal.

It's nothing as simple as air going between a narrow gap such as between a couple of close cables is it?
