Woooohoooooo that one is a killer !
I had a go on the TCR today and on a double I ran out of gears pretty much at the start .

I ended up having to stomp up it just to keep the bike going . The sports injury practice half way up made me giggle though .

I notice it took me 11:30 but the moving time is 10:30 . I didn't stop on the climb so I must have had a minute of standing still over the climb ! I knew the speed was low but not 0

It's on by default, cuts in at about 3mph IIRC. Go slower than that and it assumes you've stopped. You must have barely been keeping upright

I struggled when it got to 20% and knew I had worse to come as I had been down it on the bike before and struggled up it in a car before .

You and I should get together and change our name to Spratt. I've been up it multiple times (including on a tandem) but never down!
