Too true! Not many flat bits in Devon.

That's what makes Devon so good..!

Think how boring it would be cycling on the flat all the time...
Yea, tell me about it!!
A tree every mile if i'm lucky, maybe a house, the odd road sign to block the wind ... little wonder i enjoy
cycling at night round fenland as there's sod all to see!

Whitby/scarborough area is quite "condensed" like devon .... lots of ups and downs in such a small area, although i
recently had a little blast around ebbr vale (spelling?) on my mountain bike and i loved it!! ^_^

I run several Audax events from Honiton and Exeter. They do have a few hills. I have a friend who is an expert on flat routes through Devon.
