Hit by cyclist!

If Mr6 hadn't been with me yesterday I would have hit a cyclist myself.
Pair of them side by side taking over the whole pavement, one hopping on and off the road -where there was a very adequate cyclepath!! Unfortunately Mr6 pulled me out of the way before I could hit one.
I do take a short cut along a pavement to work - the alternative since they closed the rear entrance to the car park is to navigate a couple of nasty junctions. However I always cycle slowly and if there are any pedestrians I wait for them to pass.
I get why some people use pavements instead of the road but why they have to be such nobbers about it I don't know.

I only seem to find pavement cyclists where there are also large concentrations of pedestrians. They can be rather irritating and dangerous for less sprightly folk to avoid.

I often inform them that my Mum used to let me ride on the road when I was their age.

some oik on a BMX ran into me from behind on a pavement so I shouted at him. He got about 50m away so I couldnt give chase, turned round flashed a V sign then just rode off
