Hive Heating wiring question

Amazon have a great deal on a Hive Heating and Hot water system today. I am planning on taking the plunge but want to check out the wiring first. Can any knowledgable people comment?

This is the backplate behind my current controller.

This is the wiring diagram from Hive (the one on the right).

I assume I just transplant all the wires across and discard the bridging wires, but my question is what do I do with COM 8 in the existing setup?

Note: COM 5 is just a pair of bridging wires and L does have a wire connected in addition to the bridge.

When we had ours installed we needed to wire a wireless box into the boiler and then wire the controller into the thermostat. I'd maybe get someone qualified to do it...

It looks like your live feed loops back somewhere else, the boiler supply perhaps? Put the COM8 and L wires together in the L terminal.
