I'd say cyclists fault 100%, he can see there's a pinch point ahead and seeing as he's not ahead of the taxi and cannot take primary should not have attempted to stay with the taxi or undertake. He should have backed off.
completely avoidable this one.

actually i think this guy is attempting to kill himself!

overtaking on a junction (or trying to) entirely the cyclists fault. Cant really blame the taxi for not checking his mirrors he would have thought anyone an idiot to try and undertake him there and he would also have been concentrating on not hitting the right turner.

Very annoying how rude the cyclist is to the driver given his own failings. He would have done better to thank him and acknowledge that the taxi did at last spot him and took steps to avoid a collision by slowing, which is what the cyclist should have done in the first place.

The guys a jerk
Needs to read the road and position himself properly and anticipate what other road users and himself needs to do.
Undertaking the taxi as it slowed to avoid a right turner at a double pinch-point.
The ultimate stupidity is he does it again at the same bleeding point, then intimidates the van driver. He knew exactly what was going to happen.
Attention seeker if you ask me, wearing a huge "feel sorry for me as I'm a cyclist" badge.

Shouldn't have really gone up the inside, what if the taxi had turned left?

Good way to end up in a morgue.
Especially at an intersection. He should have tucked himself behind the taxi.
In mitigation that's the problem with these cycle feeder lanes, they create ambiguity. The demarcation leads cyclists into thinking its their space to use.

The regulars' postings in this thread are spot on.

Road rage from the cyclist really.

I agree, ideally the van should have looked but most of the blame lies with the cyclist.

Complains that this car prevents any ambiguity or issues with cyclists undertaking - 'taking the lane'

And whinges that this car has obviously seen him and is being cautious about the maneuvre (especially with van coming out of road)... Yes maybe they should have held back but they deliberatly didn't left hook him...

Bit more give and take required!

Over and above his poor judgement (which could lead to the grave), he is also giving other cyclists a bad name and potentially putting off would be cyclists due to the negative publicity he is generating. I hope for his and others sake he learns from this fast but after 4 occasions it doesn't sound like he is

What the feic did expect that driver to do in that first vid, they needed to go to the side road and cross the advisory cycle lane, do so at the last second and crash!

ive watched most of this guys videos and can only conclude the man is a fecking idiot with a camera on a bike , yes some of the drivers were in the wrong but the mans reactions are the same as road rage and as such he gives cyclists a bad name

if he had any sense on approaching junctions he should be anticipating other people making a mistake and take precautions like any decent road user irrespective if he is on a bike or in a car
