While I've cycled to work for years on my trusty hybrid, it was only last summer that I bought a road bike and been out on the 'open road'.
I've really got the cycling bug have a few questions. Very pleased to see so many friendly responses to my first thread .

Hello Colin
I live in York (15 years now! So kinda an adopted son of this lovely land). I've only started cycling recently but I'm keen. I go out mostly by myself as my mate is always bringing up excuses (work, weather, family commitments, pah...). Do 30-40 mile rides north of York (passing by Crayke & Brandsby). V proud with myself as for the first time last week I tackled Bulmer Bank and didn't die. That's my short cycling CV
