Good morning,
……. Must try something else or I'll end up barefoot.
You might be surprised by how expensive barefoot running is. 🤣

Nike Free
Set Your Feet Free
Engineered for the natural range of motion, Nike Free technology sets your feet free, so you can run the way you're meant to.
What this means for other Nike running shoes such as the Vaporfly that was banned/almost banned as it gave an advantage is rather confusing.
Your next step is to decide if you want shoes designed for runners whose first contact with the floor is the heel or the ball of the foot.
Back in the 1970s heel first was the way to go, nowadays that is evil, unless it isn’t.
Finally to depress you some more, search running shoe lifetime, you may find that your shoes will only last a few months, if you get serious.
This starts a debate of should you buy cheaper shoes and replace them frequently.
I will date myself by mentioning that I once bought “running shoes” from Littlewods and wore them out in a week, but they were only around £6 in the early 1980s.
Bye
Ian
