They look like some lights that are discussed in another thread, I'll have a rummage for you.

I get a similar effect by having an old knog light fitted to my rear hub

Cheers Andy. The vid probaly doesn't show it properly but the lights were mounted on the front fork legs and rear stays. Definite very bright LEDs

There are strips of remarkably bright LEDs on the market, I can't say who makes them as they are one of my employer's customers! The strips are about the same thickness as gaffa tape and are remarkably bright. I'll see if I can take a photo of a sample I have here (that I have my eye on for my commuting rucksack!).

Wow ! I love those Revolights, what a brilliant example of lateral thinking in product design. Only thing is that standing at traffic lights you'd look like you'd brought you're own personal disco with you! Another concern would be that they could be too distracting for drivers! Kind off the opposite of 'Sorry mate, didn't see you!'

I know that @thom has some weird lights on his wheels. Not sure where he got them but they make weird (very noticeable) patterns.

Mine are from Monkey Electric:

The Monkey Electric ones are designed to trace patterns under rotation rather than be more focused on casting light forward and backward. There is a really expensive version that is fully programmable to whatever sequence of images you want, like a guinea pig running in a wheel for example. I think this was the one a couple of guys acquired a licence to use in advertising and got Dragons Den funding.
