Thoughts welcomed on this...
I recently ordered a folding bike from a reputable on-line retailer (who has several 'real world' stores that I think are well regarded). However they've ended up sending two bikes instead of one!
I've no problem with returning one of the bikes as it was an error on their part and I've definitely not been charged twice. However, how reasonable should I be in terms of the logistics for returning it? Their opening suggestion was for me to wait for a courier to be pick it up - on a weekday sometime between 8am and 5pm. They seemed a bit surprised when I said that wasn't convenient for me given I work full-time. Their Plan B was for me to take it back to the courier depot - requiring a taxi (at my cost?) and waste at least 1 1/2 hours of my time at the weekend. Again, they seemed surprised that I wasn't overly keen on this.
Am I being unreasonable? Are they expecting too much?
Cheers,
S
