Whilst some doctors talk to everyone as a kid, others judge a person by the way they represent themselves. Wear whatever you wish to wear depending on your level on understanding of the human anatomy .

Either that or a mankini to confuse the heck out of them

Bearing in mind you'll likely need to remove your shorts/trousers for a hip check, do wear underpants!

Are you seriously considering cycling when you have expressly been told not to?! Get a lift or taxi home with your bike

The only way they can check my hip is by an x ray, there's no operation scar or anything. So i'll just take my shorts off and put an examination gown on. Whatever i have they've seen it all before.

I'll be getting a bus to the hospital and back. There's a half hourly shuttle that drops you off at the main entrance. I hope they let me take my bike on the bus.

Wear your cycling kit and be prepared for a rollocking.

I'd visited the spinal ward without wearing my brace a couple of MONTHS after discharge. Lets say the nurses snitched to the Specialist Practitioner Nurse, who rollocked me at our next check up, and told the consultant.

I've decided to wear my Accrington Stanley shirt. I wore it the other day in hospital when the main man came to see me. He looked at it as if to say what the f..k is that?!

I'm off to the hospital tomorrow for a check up and to sort my bike out. I can't decide what to wear. I'm pondering over wearing a cycle jersey and shorts, in case i can ride my bike back home. Now i know i'm banned from cycling for a month but i wont really be cycling as it's all downhill from the hospital to home, so it'll be careful free wheeling that's all. The thing is i'll be elbow crutching it to the bus stop then a taxi from there to the hospital. I reckon i'll look a bit daft with cycling shorts and elbow crutches. So maybe i should wear casual shorts instead? Then again those in the physio' dept' where my bike's been left might twig what my plans are if they see my cycle gear, although i'd pacify them by saying that i'm missing riding so much that by wearing cycling clothing it makes me feel better, like i'm still riding, even though i'm not. Maybe a casual t shirt top and casual shorts would be better, though i don't like wearing such things when i'm on a bike even just going to the shop and back. I can't decide. What do you reckon i should wear?
