I liked the mention of 'Emery Wheels'. I wondered if that was the name of the narrator. "And now, Mr Emery Wheels introduces a film about bicycles..."

Did you see the forearms on the lady putting tyres on?!

And that poor junior sod whose entire job was to lift the frame and wheels from one conveyor line onto another for 'more senior' people to actually assemble them. He didn't look right chuffed.

Great film u gotta love those accents, I'm no expert but they didn't sound like Nottingham tones. Fascinating film all the same.

Great video! It reminded me of a different film shot at a local but now departed bike shop in 1974 by the foreign and commonwealth office. People who know Greenwich may recognise the hill the presenter fails to climb as Hyde Vale (my favoured lazy way up to the heath). I owned a Witcomb bike but it got nicked shortly after this film was made.

Goodness knows how the reporter is trying to ride that bike wearing those huge flares
