And so the commuting season has come to a close. I've been battling the man flu/norovirus/chesty cough/throbbing headache
for the last 10 days, so I've had a few sick days, and the rest I had to resort to the motorbike. That means 3 weeks without my daily 24 mile ride. That's plenty long enough to fall out of shape, so now I'm better I've committed to going for a long ride at least every 3rd day. The upside to being poorly is that I've lost 1/2 a stone (11 6 now!)
My keep fit plan is this. I'm picking up a Scott Sub40 on Monday. I figure that I'll use it when the snow's too deep for the trike, and also it will be better suited for using with a turbo trainer (I'm looking on ebay right now for one.) So come Jan 7th (which will be here before we know it) I should be ready.
So that's my plan. What's yours?
